Subject:  Estimating an azimuth of ultrasound signal arrival with use of receivers pairs

During the seminar, the problem of azimuth determination of an arrival direction of an acoustic signal will be discussed. An exemplary algorithm which allows the problem to be solved will be presented.  In the further part of the seminar, the method of azimuth estimation of ultrasonic signal arrival by using a multi-pair receiver system will be presented. Then, results of calculations which exploit real experimental data will be shown.

In the next part of presentation, the application of the presented method to solving the classical problem of distinguishing objects like a wall, corner or edge will be discussed.
